About Samantha

Samantha was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota and after high school continued her education at Concordia University-Saint Paul where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. Prior to joining the TRIO team, she was an AVID tutor, interned at Tubman, and was a reading interventionist for elementary students.

Samantha has an appreciation for the college access programs that supported her as a student and knew she wanted to serve students needing similar support as her younger self. Samantha was newly introduced to the TRIO program and immediately resonated with the programs mission, values, and services. She is excited to serve and grow at a program such as TRIO.

In her free time, Samantha loves spending time with her family, having game nights with friends, reading, and playing with her dog Sunny. She also loves being outside and has big dreams to travel to see beautiful places.
